The hit song from Comrade Fatso and Chabvondoka's new album, House of Hunger. Sung from the perspective of a vendor during Mugabe's vicious Operation Murambatsvina it is a call for Bread and Roses - Love and Dignity. Dedicated to Zimbabwe's militant women's movement WOZA (Women Of Zimbabwe Arise)

Samm! Long time man! It's beautiful to see you following your dreams and using your talents to highlight the suffering of our people.
Thank you for
Thank you for your performance at the Bush Fire Festival in Swaziland, Samm. I'd never heard your stuff before but your set turned out to be my personal highlight of the weekend. The band were tight and your interaction and joking with the audience was much appreciated. Total respect for rising above everything and demonstrating such beautiful humanity in the face of such awful inhumanity. The album version of Bread & Roses is heavenly and tearful in equal measure - bang on. Thanks again.
